About AfterMath
Real progress, at a real pace.
We don't promise instant results — because that's not how real learning works. Our promise is simpler and more honest: consistent improvement, one session at a time.
Not Your Typical Tutoring
Most tutoring is either a packed classroom where kids get lost, or rigid one-on-one sessions that can feel isolating and expensive. AfterMath sits in between: our sessions run 2-3 tutors for every 4-5 students — small enough that every student gets real attention, dynamic enough that they learn from watching each other work through problems too.
If a student needs more focused support, they can always request one-on-one time with a tutor of their choice — the group format is our foundation, not a limitation.
Why Group Learning Works
Math struggles aren't just academic — they're often about confidence. Working through problems alongside other students builds something one-on-one tutoring can't: resilience, teamwork, and the ability to ask questions without feeling singled out. It's a community, not just a classroom.
How We Track Progress
Every student's growth is tracked through ongoing feedback, practice sheets, and mini-quizzes — so parents aren't just told their kid is improving, they can see it.
Who We Serve
AfterMath works with students in grades 6-12, meeting them wherever they're starting from — whether that's building foundational confidence, sharpening independent study skills, or preparing for the SAT/ACT.
